Eclectic show, featuring Julia Miggins as our guest DJ

The Mood Is Mellow

"Sweet Harmony" is the theme, featuring the "Lads of Enchantment"

My father, Dan Aycock, was in a Barbershop Quartet, called The Lads of Enchantment. They were in the air force in Albuquerque, NM. In 1956, The Lads of Enchantment won 3rd Place in the National Barbershop Quartet competition. The Folk Salad show with the theme of "Sweet Harmony" will include a song called "It Looks Like Rain In Cherry Blossom Lane" by the Lads of Enchantment, from a record recorded at that event. It makes me proud. The song closes out the show, that also features, The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield, The Rascals, Simon and Garfunkul, and Crosby/Nash, as well as many others.
